# Running on its own (`auto`)

Feedback Bench, personal agents, built 2026-10-19, window 2026-08-31 to 2026-10-18. Web page: https://feedbackbench.com/#/criterion/auto

Area of 6 criteria. Does the agent keep working, remembering and reminding without me?

Criteria: [Unprompted suggestions, insights and check-ins](https://feedbackbench.com/criteria/auto.proactive.md), [Scheduled recurring tasks and daily briefings run](https://feedbackbench.com/criteria/auto.routines.md), [Reminders and notifications reach the user correctly](https://feedbackbench.com/criteria/auto.reminders.md), [Multiple agents, teams and delegation between them](https://feedbackbench.com/criteria/auto.multi_agent.md), [Where the agent runs: its own computer and always-on running](https://feedbackbench.com/criteria/auto.cloud_env.md), [Remembering the user and context across sessions](https://feedbackbench.com/criteria/auto.memory.md)

Rated user-weeks, all agents: 8404. Complaint share: 26%.

## The brief

Written by large language models from this page's numbers and the posts it quotes, then checked: every number in the text is in the build. Interpretation, not measurement.

Hark, Muse and Hermes Agent lead this area, but none of them leads every part of it. Hark is 1st of 8 overall, yet it ranks high only on taking useful initiative. Muse ranks high on memory, initiative and scheduled routines, but ranks low on agent teams. Hermes Agent ranks high on the computer it runs on, memory and schedules, but low on initiative. Grok Bot is 5th of 8 overall. It ranks high on agent teams but low on memory, initiative and schedules. ChatGPT Dots is 8th of 8 and ranks low on its computer, agent teams and schedules.

## How it breaks

Rule: A separate pass sorts complaints into failure modes. For each criterion with at least 30 complaining user-weeks, a large language model reads 150 complaint posts drawn at random and names 4 to 8 failure modes; a second large language model then puts every complaint post on that criterion in one mode, or in Other when it fits none. Modes are fixed once named, and new posts are sorted into them each week. A mode counts distinct user-weeks with a complaint in it, per agent; across agents, one user-week per agent. Modes do not change the labels or the Feedback Score. Examples: up to 3 posts per mode from different users, chosen and checked as receipts are.

The largest failure is a self-hosted agent that is unstable and high maintenance: 154 user-weeks, most from OpenClaw and Hermes Agent users. Next is a hosted computer that is too weak or slow, mostly from Grok Bot and ChatGPT Dots users. Hermes Agent, Grok Bot and OpenClaw users describe memory that fades in long sessions or starts blank. Grok Bot users write 42% of complaints about an agent that waits for instructions despite promised proactivity.

### [Unprompted suggestions, insights and check-ins](https://feedbackbench.com/criteria/auto.proactive.md)

226 complaining user-weeks.

| Failure mode | User-weeks | Posts | Agents (user-weeks) | Definition |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Waits for instructions despite promised proactivity | 103 | 108 | Grok Bot 43, ChatGPT Dots 16, OpenClaw 16, Hermes Agent 14, Muse 13, Hark 1 | The agent never starts anything itself: it offers no suggestions, does no follow-up, does not create subagents or skills, and does not connect related information it already has, unless the user prompts it or builds cron jobs and routines for it; this excludes cases where a trigger was configured and failed to fire. |
| Excessive or repetitive unprompted notifications | 35 | 35 | Muse 16, Grok Bot 8, OpenClaw 4, Poke 3, ChatGPT Dots 2, Hark 1, Instinct 1 | The agent pings, texts, calls or pops up too often: back-to-back messages, an alert for every email, check-ins at odd hours, or reappearing after being dismissed or blocked; this excludes single messages whose problem is their content rather than how often they arrive. |
| Intrusive or ill-judged interjections from personal data | 25 | 25 | Muse 15, ChatGPT Dots 4, Grok Bot 4, Gemini Spark 1, Hark 1 | The agent speaks up uninvited in a way that feels invasive or wrong, such as commenting on private texts, device state or behaviour, questioning the user's intentions, forcing reflection prompts, or reminding them about things already handled or not relevant; this excludes complaints that are only about how often it messages. |

### [Scheduled recurring tasks and daily briefings run](https://feedbackbench.com/criteria/auto.routines.md)

192 complaining user-weeks.

| Failure mode | User-weeks | Posts | Agents (user-weeks) | Definition |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Scheduled routine silently fails to fire | 55 | 55 | Grok Bot 25, Hermes Agent 9, OpenClaw 7, ChatGPT Dots 5, Gemini Spark 4, Muse 4, Poke 1 | A scheduled job or briefing is set up correctly but often doesn't run at its due time, with no alert or error shown, and the user only notices when output is missing. Out of scope: jobs that fire late, jobs that worked for days and then stopped, and outages that hit every routine at once. |
| No event-driven triggers beyond fixed schedules | 21 | 22 | Grok Bot 10, OpenClaw 4, ChatGPT Dots 2, Hermes Agent 2, Muse 2, Hark 1 | The agent can only poll on fixed time intervals, so incoming email, webhooks, location changes or other events don't wake it, and time-sensitive items get missed between checks. Out of scope: time-based schedules that fail to fire. |
| Scheduled runs start late or at wrong time | 19 | 21 | Grok Bot 15, Gemini Spark 2, OpenClaw 2 | A routine does run, but minutes to an hour late, or at a time the user didn't intend, for example the wrong timezone, skipped weekends or delays after the host sleeps. Out of scope: runs that never happen at all. |

### [Reminders and notifications reach the user correctly](https://feedbackbench.com/criteria/auto.reminders.md)

113 complaining user-weeks.

| Failure mode | User-weeks | Posts | Agents (user-weeks) | Definition |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Push notifications silently never arrive | 23 | 23 | Grok Bot 15, Muse 6, Hermes Agent 2 | Covers push or in-app alerts that don't reach the device at all or only arrive sometimes, even with notifications turned on (for example on Android, when the app is closed or backgrounded, or when no delivery route is set up); a reminder that fires at the wrong time is out. |
| Too many low-value notifications | 21 | 21 | Muse 10, Grok Bot 5, OpenClaw 3, Hermes Agent 2, ChatGPT Dots 1 | Covers floods of pings for trivial events, very frequent status updates, duplicate or repeated updates, and the agent being overly proactive, so users end up muting it; notifications the user explicitly asked to stop, and ads, are out. |
| Scheduled reminders fire late, wrong, or never | 20 | 20 | Muse 9, Grok Bot 5, OpenClaw 2, ChatGPT Dots 1, Hark 1, Instinct 1, Poke 1 | Covers reminders, alarms, and scheduled jobs the user asked for that trigger late, at a random or wrong-timezone time, or not at all, because the agent forgets or schedules them badly; general push delivery failures that affect every message are out. |

### [Multiple agents, teams and delegation between them](https://feedbackbench.com/criteria/auto.multi_agent.md)

468 complaining user-weeks.

| Failure mode | User-weeks | Posts | Agents (user-weeks) | Definition |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Agents across products or accounts can't communicate | 84 | 93 | Grok Bot 29, Hermes Agent 23, OpenClaw 13, Muse 10, ChatGPT Dots 6, Gemini Spark 2, Hark 1 | Agents from different vendors, different accounts (such as a spouse or business partner) or different machines can't message, share files or hand off work to each other, so the user ends up copying and pasting between them; problems between agents inside one product's own team are out. |
| No way to organise and oversee many agents | 78 | 79 | Grok Bot 38, Hermes Agent 21, OpenClaw 12, ChatGPT Dots 3, Muse 3, Instinct 1 | As the number of agents grows, the interface offers no grouping, org chart, project separation or clear point to give instructions, and teammate agents flood the user with notifications or hide approval requests in their own chats; failures in how the agents behave toward each other are out. |
| Orchestrator fails to delegate or manage subagents | 76 | 80 | Grok Bot 32, Hermes Agent 27, OpenClaw 9, ChatGPT Dots 5, Muse 3 | The lead or chief-of-staff agent won't delegate, stays passive, doesn't handle tasks its subagents block on, can't give subagents a different model or a narrower context, has its relayed approvals rejected by teammate agents, or adds redundant coordination layers that burn tokens without adding value; problems with how the user organises agents in the interface are out. |

### [Where the agent runs: its own computer and always-on running](https://feedbackbench.com/criteria/auto.cloud_env.md)

852 complaining user-weeks.

| Failure mode | User-weeks | Posts | Agents (user-weeks) | Definition |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Self-hosted agent unstable and high maintenance | 154 | 157 | OpenClaw 79, Hermes Agent 59, Grok Bot 10, Muse 5, Gemini Spark 1 | An agent the user runs on their own PC, Mac mini or VPS crashes, eats memory, breaks on updates or OS quirks, needs constant upkeep, or stops whenever that machine sleeps or powers off; slow local model inference is out. |
| Hosted computer too weak or slow | 141 | 154 | Grok Bot 62, ChatGPT Dots 27, Hermes Agent 21, OpenClaw 15, Muse 11, Gemini Spark 2, Hark 2, Poke 1 | The hosted machine is laggy or short on RAM, disk, GPU, audio or other capacity (including resources taken by other tenants), so heavy or browser tasks crash or crawl; problems with the user's own hardware are out. |
| Hosted computer network and permissions locked down | 101 | 112 | Grok Bot 43, ChatGPT Dots 22, Hermes Agent 13, Muse 12, OpenClaw 7, Gemini Spark 2, Hark 2 | The hosted machine blocks needed network reach or system permissions, such as no VPN, tailscale, SSH, tunnels, cgroups or open internet, or uses a datacenter or foreign IP that sites flag, triggering 2FA and failed logins; slowness and crashes are out. |

### [Remembering the user and context across sessions](https://feedbackbench.com/criteria/auto.memory.md)

557 complaining user-weeks.

| Failure mode | User-weeks | Posts | Agents (user-weeks) | Definition |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Context decay within long sessions | 121 | 129 | Hermes Agent 38, Grok Bot 27, OpenClaw 25, Muse 18, ChatGPT Dots 10, Poke 2, Instinct 1 | During one long conversation or multi-step job, the agent drifts, repeats tool calls, contradicts earlier answers or quietly drops decisions after the context fills up or is compacted, until the user has to reset; it does not cover loss that happens between separate sessions. |
| Every new session starts blank | 104 | 112 | Hermes Agent 29, Grok Bot 28, OpenClaw 19, ChatGPT Dots 18, Muse 9, Gemini Spark 1 | A new chat, thread, voice call, scheduled run or device begins with no knowledge of the user, their setup or earlier conversations, so the user has to re-explain themselves; it does not cover data deleted by an update or forgetting partway through one long session. |
| Memory wiped by updates, reinstalls or migrations | 99 | 103 | OpenClaw 42, Hermes Agent 24, Grok Bot 20, Muse 9, ChatGPT Dots 4 | The agent's stored memory, personality, chat history or session list disappears or stops working after a version upgrade, reinstall, reboot, crash, subscription change, model switch or move to another harness or machine; it does not cover memory that is still there but goes unused. |

## Top requests

What users ask to add or change, most asked first. 1935 user-weeks ask for something. Requests do not change the Feedback Score. Rule: A separate pass by a large language model reads every counted post and extracts what the user asks the agent or its vendor to add or change, with the criteria it maps to and a short normalised wording; it does not touch the labels or the Feedback Score. A large language model groups the wordings within each criterion (the first criterion the request maps to) into themes, and a second pass merges themes that ask for the same change under different criteria; a merged theme sits under the criterion most of its requests map to, and code counts it once. A theme counts distinct user-weeks that ask for it, per agent; across agents, one user-week per agent. Themes asked in fewer than 2 user-weeks, and requests that share no theme, are not shown. Examples: up to 3 posts per theme from different users, without slurs: whole posts of 60 to 450 characters with at least 8 words beyond handles and links, posts of at most 280 characters first, then the newest.

### 1. Persistent memory across sessions

- OpenClaw, 2026-10-15, X search: OpenClaw, openclaw.ai (X): “@jjenglert @muse i agree with this entire assessment. this is all the same things that have happened with other harnesses i've used in the past, openclaw etc. it needs a better memory system and i agree 💯 it needs more actual proactivity and not just from a heartbeat.” [source](https://twitter.com/49702700/status/2110533005454577930)
- Instinct, 2026-10-13, X search: Instinct AI, Instinct personal assistant, instinct.com (X): “@elonmusk @grok @bot you really need to develop memory like instinct ai or muse ai does . the grok bot is good but i’m missing that memory which i would like to use with grok bot than the other ai asap. @poteto @mattyp” [source](https://twitter.com/939963120461799424/status/2110157138085449910)
- OpenClaw, 2026-10-11, X search: OpenClaw, openclaw.ai (X): “i tried to change the settings to improve openclaw's memory, and it broke. this always happens. then i have codex fix it. it's difficult, openclaw.” [source](https://twitter.com/1951129463112212480/status/2109154761136337401)

### 2. Interoperability between different agents

- OpenClaw, 2026-10-14, X search: OpenClaw, openclaw.ai (X): “using tg group for cross-agent communication is not reliable (openclaw is too dumb to follow rules). maybe a better is to use a2a protocol in the backend but show summary in the tg group for human instead.” [source](https://twitter.com/7204712/status/2110279751608811594)
- Grok Bot, 2026-10-12, X search: Grok Bot, Grokbot, x.ai/bot (X): “now there are more and more products similar to grok bot, why isn't there a foundational facility that connects all these products together?!” [source](https://twitter.com/1688412716367593472/status/2109537410141086111)
- Muse, 2026-10-09, @muse (X): “@iruletheworldmo @grokbot hates @muse and muse hates grokbot. they refuse to cooperate and that is why agi fails.” [source](https://twitter.com/1824503670811267073/status/2108538309710389307)

### 3. Multiple agents per account

- ChatGPT Dots, 2026-10-17, Put your dot on call (YouTube): “1) when will it be dots instead of 'dot' (singular) 2) when can it be able to call people on the phone on my behalf? 3) when can it 100% automate my computer? (without me having to resort to codex) these are the only things i'm interested in.” [source](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GBOZIRK1ujw&lc=UgwtJpQTH1b2AcFIiYJ4AaABAg)
- ChatGPT Dots, 2026-10-17, X search: ChatGPT dots, ChatGPT dot, OpenAI dots, OpenAI's dot (X): “why are openai’s dots called dots if you can only have one? i need more.” [source](https://twitter.com/780497815818625028/status/2111579561267999121)
- ChatGPT Dots, 2026-10-17, X search: ChatGPT dots, ChatGPT dot, OpenAI dots, OpenAI's dot (X): “my @openai "dot" only has 1 purpose. tell me when "dot(s)" is released. otherwise, it's ignored entirely. @openaidevs @thsottiaux single dot is useless for my use cases. [link]” [source](https://twitter.com/733419117139496960/status/2111552769383620779)

### 4. Self-hosted deployment option

- Hermes Agent, 2026-10-15, X search: Hermes Agent, hermes-agent, Hermes Desktop (X): “i'm a little interested in hermes desktop... i want to easily self-host a virtual pc like dots and make it a two-in-one.” [source](https://twitter.com/726144978/status/2110743878534078540)
- Grok Bot, 2026-10-15, X search: Grok Bot, Grokbot, x.ai/bot (X): “also curious if xai plans to let grok bot run on private servers or local machines like hermes desktop. that would remove the main reason i keep sensitive stuff off it.” [source](https://twitter.com/2061094751445700613/status/2110655864248111377)
- Grok Bot, 2026-10-13, @bot (X): “@geoffreyhuntley @bot tell me when you can self host @bot on this” [source](https://twitter.com/1955005796527509507/status/2109928589982622204)

### 5. Always-on running while user's device is off

- Grok Bot, 2026-10-10, r/GrokBot (Reddit): “its not useful for trading since its not running on a 24/7 server” [source](https://www.reddit.com/r/GrokBot/comments/1x28ijl/trading_with_grok_bot/pf0b1gv/)
- Hark, 2026-10-10, @hark_labs (X): “@adcock_brett @hark_labs @adcock_brett three asks and hark becomes the agent we run our lives on: 1) always-on processes (my tailscale bridge dies whenever the sandbox idles), 2) multi-account sign-on to switch between work and personal, 3) a real-time voice mode like grok's 🙏” [source](https://twitter.com/1737245583780220928/status/2108951530535530616)
- Grok Bot, 2026-10-10, @bot (X): “@bot @cursor_ai cloud pc hibernates repeatedly while i'm using sites over tailscale. today many sleep/wake cycles; each drops tailscale for minutes until a watchdog restarts it. need always-on / disable sleep. node grok-bot-vm-[phone].” [source](https://twitter.com/1659971261685174272/status/2108847054449512456)

### 6. Orchestrator agent delegating to specialists

- Hermes Agent, 2026-10-15, r/hermesagent (Reddit): “i have been saying this forever. i basically just built my own hacky version of it and so badly wish it were natively supported” [source](https://www.reddit.com/r/hermesagent/comments/1x6qgz1/hermes_sessions_should_be_able_to_send_messages/pgxv9r4/)
- OpenClaw, 2026-10-11, X search: OpenClaw, openclaw.ai (X): “@steipete @artman will openclaw's future optimization direction aim to become a model for great multi-agent collaborative development capabilities?” [source](https://twitter.com/1694700723316166656/status/2109261064328348079)
- Hermes Agent, 2026-10-10, @NousResearch (X): “@teknium @nousresearch we need the bot mode to be as good as @bot 1. clean, minimal design 2. ios app 3 . better orchestration 4. groups should be active 5. easier autonomous work” [source](https://twitter.com/2375658807/status/2108881069919305728)

### 7. Direct communication between a user's agents

- ChatGPT Dots, 2026-10-17, X search: ChatGPT dots, ChatGPT dot, OpenAI dots, OpenAI's dot (X): “i’m liking @chatgpt dot so far and use mine quite a bit. i’d love to be able to spin up multiple dots and have them coordinate with each other.” [source](https://twitter.com/1969785356603240448/status/2111355602462982210)
- Grok Bot, 2026-10-14, X search: Grok Bot, Grokbot, x.ai/bot (X): “@bgadoci watching grok bot and claude pass github issues back and forth like that is the dream. would be even cooler if the security bot and the design bot could just leave notes for each other without you in the middle 😏” [source](https://twitter.com/2107174595904364544/status/2110236433713877465)
- Grok Bot, 2026-10-10, @bot (X): “@buildwithomkarr @mausbot_ @instinct @muse @bot great job! is there an easy way of communicating between different teams of bots? let's say i have a marketing team, and other team can ask them to do something” [source](https://twitter.com/88933191/status/2108864502779248680)

### 8. Central dashboard for all agents

- OpenClaw, 2026-10-17, @openclaw (X): “@openclaw the part i'd love to see is her dashboard. at that volume the hard problem isnt running loops, it's knowing which ones are stuck, which finished, and which quietly died at 3am” [source](https://twitter.com/2109396108132884480/status/2111567788712288664)
- ChatGPT Dots, 2026-10-15, X search: ChatGPT dots, ChatGPT dot, OpenAI dots, OpenAI's dot (X): “claude mods' idea offering a status display where you can see the progress of openai dots i think it would be nice to have a progress dashboard that summarizes the persistent agents of each company.” [source](https://twitter.com/96780028/status/2110847853031833651)
- ChatGPT Dots, 2026-10-15, X search: ChatGPT dots, ChatGPT dot, OpenAI dots, OpenAI's dot (X): “@amorriscode @theo yes, make it the default. one user woke up to codex usage at 0% (43% at bedtime) because a chatgpt dot kept starting codex tasks overnight. once agents run unattended, "needs you / running / done" is the first thing you should see” [source](https://twitter.com/972324760855003136/status/2110610260256055790)

### 9. Shared memory between agents

- OpenClaw, 2026-10-17, @openclaw (X): “@openclaw feature request please add ability to share chat session between dot and open claw and chat gpt or claude chat session and open claw a collaboration of individual chats and open claw @steipete” [source](https://twitter.com/52092873/status/2111290769021796747)
- ChatGPT Dots, 2026-10-11, X search: ChatGPT dots, ChatGPT dot, OpenAI dots, OpenAI's dot (X): “@aivm_network persistent memory is one of the missing pieces for truly useful long running agents. bringing shared context and governance into openai dots could make these systems far more reliable and scalable.” [source](https://twitter.com/1683157697208762368/status/2109261085324808643)
- Hermes Agent, 2026-10-10, @NousResearch (X): “@jessegenet @bot @nousresearch the real cost isn't switching between agents, it's that none of them share a memory. until hermes and the other one can read the same context, "knitting it together" just means you're the integration layer.” [source](https://twitter.com/1622919584348049410/status/2109030065480810796)

### 10. More proactive, unprompted behavior overall

- Hark, 2026-10-15, @hark_labs (X): “@hark_labs hark is fire. i use it to manage my full day, it's my personal assistant for everything. i wish it was more proactive. does it have a heartbeat or something to start model inference? i wish you'd add custom imap/smtp support.” [source](https://twitter.com/1877539936733216768/status/2110640277190787479)
- Grok Bot, 2026-10-15, @bot (X): “@therealjbigs @madebydia @grok @bot same - i've been quite surprised to see how the recently launched "proactive main @bot lacks proativity. even when asking and it confirms "right, i'll be more proactive", it doesn't happen.” [source](https://twitter.com/1733408599534157824/status/2110585321876578658)

### 11. Integration between specific agent products

- Muse, 2026-10-16, @muse (X): “the biggest drawback to personal agents like @muse, @bot and @hark_labs is that they can't orchestrate my codex sessions where the majority of my work lives. the biggest drawback to @openai dots is that, for some reason, they can't either. 🤷♂️ [link]” [source](https://twitter.com/2034456689345486848/status/2111116764788437332)

[link]” [source](https://twitter.com/256317554/status/2110065996694172114)
- Hermes Agent, 2026-10-13, X search: Hermes Agent, hermes-agent, Hermes Desktop (X): “i’ve given up waiting for dots to come to uk so testing out grokbot now anyone have a slick way for grokbot to chat to my hermes agent running on my local mac mini and the other way around? i’d love it if they can delegate to each other when appropriate” [source](https://twitter.com/16575775/status/2109925936208691516)

### 12. Fully managed hosted version

- Hermes Agent, 2026-10-07, @NousResearch (X): “@nousresearch how will the mobile app work? will it just be a way to use my home pc (if left on)? or will we be able to use hermes entirely in the cloud? without paying for a virtual service. like how we can use models wherever for their own price. @teknium” [source](https://twitter.com/1246152062787878912/status/2107914245329539163)

## Posts

Receipts rule: Up to 5 praise and 5 complaint posts per area and 3 per criterion. Each is a whole post of 60 to 450 characters (700 for areas) with at least 8 words beyond handles and links, that judges the criterion, whose labels are all praise or all complaint, and that contains no slur. Posts that touch the fewest criteria come first, then posts of at most 280 characters, then the newest. A second large language model reads the first 3 candidates per slot and keeps a post only if it clearly praises, or clearly complains about, the agent on that criterion. Links and personal details removed by the source show as marks such as [link].

### Hark

- Praise, 2026-10-18, @hark_labs (X): “@harrykapoor19 @pranayraiii @hark_labs @adcock_brett tried both and loved both. hark is more pro active which is the biggest value unlock” [source](https://twitter.com/1665023668395597826/status/2111870825695482285)
- Praise, 2026-10-18, @hark_labs (X): “@hark_labs is really good it has been really productive for me. ex: i was interested in a role and had saved it in linkedin, next day it sent me a notification saying there was an event for that company near me. i didn’t even ask. love it!” [source](https://twitter.com/1294411806786691074/status/2111898136000229872)
- Praise, 2026-10-18, @hark_labs (X): “@harrykapoor19 @hark_labs @adcock_brett on the waitlist for instinct. what's your experience been so far? hark is pro active, without being too intrusive.” [source](https://twitter.com/3226833582/status/2111912770950369387)
- Praise, 2026-10-17, @hark_labs (X): “@thsottiaux @ai_funss please fix dot before anything else. it keeps asking permission for already-approved work, then gets blocked even after i say yes. make it proactive like @hark_labs ; i wanted an assistant, not another full-time job supervising one.” [source](https://twitter.com/1887377119833198592/status/2111351862574350429)

- Complaint, 2026-10-14, @hark_labs (X): “@hark_labs hark doesn’t need to become a separate method of managing emails and todos. messaging me with a todo list and when i should leave for an appointment and do this and do that can be nagging and micromanaging.” [source](https://twitter.com/37080174/status/2110170177446850885)
- Complaint, 2026-10-14, @hark_labs (X): “@awilkinson @hark_labs @adcock_brett nope. i have muse and hark executing the same scheduled tasks and muse is surprisingly more proactive.” [source](https://twitter.com/115585501/status/2110386787398934823)
- Complaint, 2026-10-18, Hark AI Review: My Honest Verdict After 5 Days (YouTube): “hark is really great for personal tasks. but for business, it's missing webhooks or event triggers. an agent only wakes up on a schedule or when you type in the app. no incoming email or webhook can wake it. i run several agents for my studio (hark, hermes, claude, etc.). with hermes or claude, an email or webhook triggers the agent instantly. with hark, only typing in the app just isn't workable for real workflows. add webhooks and it becomes a real business tool.” [source](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6ttjVLDiFVI&lc=Ugy51Me1_qJXGC7V05Z4AaABAg)

- Complaint, 2026-10-17, @hark_labs (X): “i’m a big fan of what @adcock_brett is doing (including archer and figure), but using @hark_labs was just unbearable. i couldn’t get basic responses, delayed notifications, and a pizza bait that refused to work even after 2 hours but this probably is just the beginning and i’m sure they have a lot to work on” [source](https://twitter.com/1131253583658323968/status/2111527134955184557)

### Muse

- Praise, 2026-10-18, @muse (X): “asked muse what was new in v8.0 on macos desktop app, and by the end of the chat it casually offered to snapshot its own system prompt daily to diff and flag the hidden updates for me. zero gatekeeping from @muse [link]” [source](https://twitter.com/2872401043/status/2111650235688890803)
- Praise, 2026-10-18, @muse (X): “maybe it’s me, but i love how proactive @muse is. i can’t get @bot to do anything without prompting, could be my error but i can’t, meanwhile muse just follows up on conversations and action items all day long. @alexandr_wang and @natfriedman cooked.” [source](https://twitter.com/14835779/status/2111861925470687601)

- Complaint, 2026-10-18, @muse (X): “i would love @muse to be proactive with the ideas tab. the only way i get benefit from it is scrolling through, reading each one, and picking one to do. i’m sure muse has endless ideas, but i don’t have endless time to scroll. the best personal assistants know what you want done” [source](https://twitter.com/1518819884418752512/status/2111772515563663459)

- Complaint, 2026-10-17, X search: OpenClaw, openclaw.ai (X): “@kellogh @deepfates kinda sounds like you should be resetting context or compacting more i have never had those issues with hermes, openclaw i get its a bitch to keep running well.” [source](https://twitter.com/1680659691301470210/status/2111516194683703629)
- Complaint, 2026-10-15, X search: OpenClaw, openclaw.ai (X): “@jarrenpinchuck @muse honestly, i haven’t really felt like it’s a model problem. this is similar problems to what i saw with my openclaw. i tend to think that agents like this need a legit db of some sort and a text memory.md file isn’t enough.” [source](https://twitter.com/319449386/status/2110664803010379897)
- Complaint, 2026-10-14, r/hermesagent (Reddit): “openclaw had this at the beginning although it didn't work that well, and i think they eventually got rid of it. a cron job that repeated every 15 minutes or so and checked your email, calendar, etc. and took action if relevant” [source](https://www.reddit.com/r/hermesagent/comments/1x5s55h/muse_like_behavior_in_hermes/pgp6qzz/)
- Complaint, 2026-10-12, @openclaw (X): “@openclaw get it to actually work, that would be a good start. it can’t reliably check endpoints on a daily basis” [source](https://twitter.com/1902913537183453184/status/2109705421271527802)
