## The brief

Hark is best at this. Users praise its panels, cards and home screen, and Hark users bring up the app more often than other users, mostly to praise it. Users rate whether the app works without bugs often: it is the 19th most rated of 53 criteria. Most of what users say about it is complaint, with 72.2% of rated user-weeks complaining. Hermes Agent ranks last, 6th of 6, and its users write 31% of the category's complaints here. Muse and ChatGPT Dots also rank low.

### What separates the best from the rest

Hark users talk about design. They describe a home screen of panels they choose and cards that show results visually. Hark has 88 praise to 40 complaints. Users of the agents that rank low describe apps that get in the way. Hermes Agent users say its desktop app is heavy, cluttered and sometimes fails to start, and it has 80 praise to 335 complaints. Muse users report battery drain, share pop-ups after screenshots and replies they cannot select. ChatGPT Dots users say images do not show and the cloud browser crashes.

## How it breaks

Rule: A separate pass sorts complaints into failure modes. For each criterion with at least 30 complaining user-weeks, a large language model reads 150 complaint posts drawn at random and names 4 to 8 failure modes; a second large language model then puts every complaint post on that criterion in one mode, or in Other when it fits none. Modes are fixed once named, and new posts are sorted into them each week. A mode counts distinct user-weeks with a complaint in it, per agent; across agents, one user-week per agent. Modes do not change the labels or the Feedback Score. Examples: up to 3 posts per mode from different users, chosen and checked as receipts are.

The largest mode is apps that crash, freeze or will not launch, at 19% of complaining user-weeks. Hermes Agent has 37% of these. Hermes Agent also has 51% of the complaints about cluttered, confusing desktop navigation. Two smaller modes come mostly from Muse: broken tablet and landscape layouts (71%) and pop-ups, ads and screen takeovers (79%).

## Posts

Receipts rule: Up to 5 praise and 5 complaint posts per area and 3 per criterion.
