Gemini Spark and Muse rank high on sign-up and sign-in. Users say Gemini Spark gets them registered in seconds. Muse users describe signing up without a payment card, and one says they were never asked for their age. This criterion makes up 2.0% of what users rate, and most users who rate it complain: 88.0% of rated user-weeks are complaints. Grok Bot ranks low, 5th of 5, and accounts for 37% of the category's complaints here. Muse has the most rated user-weeks of any agent, so it still accounts for 50% of the complaints.

Users of the leading agents describe a short way in. Gemini Spark users say registration is fast and smooth. Muse users say they signed up without entering card details. Grok Bot users describe sign-in loops: the browser says sign-in worked, then the app asks them to log in again. Others say their paid account will not link, or that a message says the account is already unified when it is not. Grok Bot accounts for 62% of the sign-in loop complaints.

## How it breaks

Rule: A separate pass sorts complaints into failure modes. For each criterion with at least 30 complaining user-weeks, a large language model reads 150 complaint posts drawn at random and names 4 to 8 failure modes; a second large language model then puts every complaint post on that criterion in one mode, or in Other when it fits none. Modes are fixed once named, and new posts are sorted into them each week. A mode counts distinct user-weeks with a complaint in it, per agent; across agents, one user-week per agent. The largest named failure is sign-in through an outside provider such as X or Google that hangs or sends users back to the login screen. It covers 19% of complaining user-weeks, and 62% of these complaints come from Grok Bot users. Most complaints about paid subscriptions that will not link also come from Grok Bot (78%). Most complaints about age checks come from Muse (90%), and so do most complaints about region or waitlist walls at signup (77%).
