# Long unattended runs and goal/loop mode (`work.long_running_autonomy`)

Feedback Bench, coding agents, built 2026-10-19, window 2026-08-31 to 2026-10-18. Web page: https://feedbackbench.com/coding-agents/#/criterion/work.long_running_autonomy

Area: [Doing the work](https://feedbackbench.com/coding-agents/criteria/work.md)

**Definition.** Whether the agent sustains hours-long autonomous work toward a goal, and whether a goal or loop mode exists.

**Boundary.** Not this: see [Subagents, parallel agents and orchestrators](https://feedbackbench.com/coding-agents/criteria/work.multi_agent_orchestration.md) for coordination between agents. Not this: see [Cloud and remote sandbox execution](https://feedbackbench.com/coding-agents/criteria/surfaces.cloud_sessions.md) for where the run executes.

Rated user-weeks, all agents: 1357. Complaint share: 23%.

## The brief

Written by large language models from this page's numbers and the posts it quotes, then checked: every number in the text is in the build. Interpretation, not measurement.

Claude Code is the best agent for long unattended work, and Devin, Factory and Amp also rank high. Users of these agents describe runs that keep going for hours or days without anyone pressing continue. The criterion makes up 1.6% of what users rate, the 24th most rated of 63 criteria. At the bottom, OpenAI Codex ranks 8th of 8, and its users write 48% of the category's complaints here. OpenCode, Google Antigravity and Cursor also rank low.

### What separates the best from the rest

Users of the leading agents describe agents that keep working on their own. Factory users praise mission mode for long tasks that run without a break. Amp users say it carries on after a usage limit with no retry click. Devin users say it behaves as if goal mode were always on. Users of the agents that rank low describe the opposite. Their agent finishes one piece and stops, goals stall for trivial reasons, and runs die on a passing server error. OpenCode users also say there is no built-in goal mode.

## How it breaks

Rule: A separate pass sorts complaints into failure modes. For each criterion with at least 30 complaining user-weeks, a large language model reads 150 complaint posts drawn at random and names 4 to 8 failure modes; a second large language model then puts every complaint post on that criterion in one mode, or in Other when it fits none. Modes are fixed once named, and new posts are sorted into them each week. A mode counts distinct user-weeks with a complaint in it, per agent; across agents, one user-week per agent. Modes do not change the labels or the Feedback Score. Examples: up to 3 posts per mode from different users, chosen and checked as receipts are.

The largest mode is missing or weak goal, loop and scheduling features, at 21% of complaining user-weeks. Long runs that drift into loops and scope creep follow at 20%. OpenAI Codex users write the most complaints in every mode but one. They account for 62% of runs that die on transient errors and 60% of drift. In the remaining mode, permission and safety gates that stop a run, Claude Code and OpenAI Codex users complain equally.

330 complaining user-weeks.

| Failure mode | User-weeks | Posts | Agents (user-weeks) | Definition |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Missing or limited goal, loop and scheduling features | 68 | 68 | OpenAI Codex 33, Claude Code 17, OpenCode 7, Cursor 4, Pi 3, Google Antigravity 1, Cline 1, Devin 1, Factory 1 | The product has no goal or loop mode, no cron or scheduled triggers, no push-style background task notifications, or only weak versions of them (loops that expire, hourly-only scheduling, stdout polling that eats context, no way to background a session), so users build workarounds; bugs in a feature that does exist and stops mid-run are out. |
| Long runs drift into loops and scope creep | 65 | 68 | OpenAI Codex 39, Claude Code 17, Cursor 4, Amp 2, OpenCode 2, Google Antigravity 1 | Over hours of unsupervised work the agent strays from the goal, re-implements the same thing over and over, over-engineers, works on unrelated things, or leaves a large broken diff that takes days to clean up; runs that simply stop or spend too much without drifting are out. |
| Agent ends turn or asks to continue | 45 | 45 | OpenAI Codex 18, Claude Code 12, OpenCode 4, Amp 3, Google Antigravity 3, Cursor 3, Devin 1, Factory 1 | On a long task the model itself stops early, ends its turn, hits checkpoints it made up, or keeps asking whether to continue or what to decide, so the user has to keep nudging it; stops caused by infrastructure errors or harness permission or safety gates are out. |
| Unattended run dies on transient errors | 42 | 44 | OpenAI Codex 26, Claude Code 7, OpenCode 4, Google Antigravity 2, Amp 1, Cline 1, Factory 1 | An unattended run or goal stops for good on a recoverable infrastructure event and does not resume or retry on its own, so hours of night-time work are lost; events include capacity or overload errors, API failures, a dropped sandbox connection, a forced re-login or a usage-limit reset; stops the model chooses itself and permission prompts are out. |
| Unreliable goal state and completion signals | 38 | 38 | OpenAI Codex 18, Claude Code 10, Cursor 4, Google Antigravity 3, Conductor 1, Kiro 1, OpenCode 1 | The user or a coordinating agent cannot trust the reported state of a long run: an exit that looks finished but isn't, finished agents that look the same as working ones, goals that never update their progress, goals the agent cannot pause or that keep going after a pause, or an agent that survives stop commands; drift in what the work actually contains is out. |
| Unattended runs burn quota and machine resources | 30 | 30 | OpenAI Codex 15, Claude Code 9, OpenCode 3, Google Antigravity 1, Cursor 1, Devin 1 | An overnight or long goal uses up a large share of the user's plan, credits or local machine (runaway spending, parallel agents, endless processes, CPU pegged for hours) far beyond what the task warranted; output quality problems are out unless the main harm is cost. |
| Permission and safety gates interrupt autonomous runs | 12 | 12 | Claude Code 5, OpenAI Codex 5, Google Antigravity 1, OpenCode 1 | Harness-level approval prompts, auto-mode classifier failures, or repeated safety pause warnings block a long run until a human clicks through, even when permissions were granted ahead of time; the model voluntarily asking questions is out. |
| Other | 35 | 35 | OpenAI Codex 13, Claude Code 10, Google Antigravity 7, OpenCode 2, Factory 1, Pi 1, Zed 1 | Complaints that fit none of the modes above. |

#### Missing or limited goal, loop and scheduling features

- Pi, 2026-10-11, @pidotdev (X): “@henriquebastos @dpetrou @pidotdev im really hoping pi-durable make it for 2/3 i was used pi, but having afk workflows and automations in cursor/devin was unfortunately much easier :(” [source](https://twitter.com/2095992373113126913/status/2109315913983893585)
- Pi, 2026-10-03, r/PiCodingAgent (Reddit): “that’s just what i need, thanks! in have built my perfect pi stack with everything i need, but it can’t run extremely long tasks due to context length. using this, i just get one hierarchy level on top, without much hassle.” [source](https://www.reddit.com/r/PiCodingAgent/comments/1wwpau0/i_made_pidelegator_for_people_who_want_a_simpler/pdo30z0/)
- Claude Code, 2026-09-30, r/ClaudeAI (Reddit): “scheduled tasks do most of that already. claude code on a timer still requires you to approve what it found. it only looks when it runs, so it misses whatever happens in between. haven't tried dots though.” [source](https://www.reddit.com/r/ClaudeAI/comments/1wu1292/openai_just_launched_dots_alwayson_agents_does/pczicm9/)

#### Long runs drift into loops and scope creep

- OpenAI Codex, 2026-10-10, r/codex (Reddit): “for whatever reason, in my experience whenever you try let it completely a task as a goal is becomes so dumb and takes 4x as long to complete a task, if at all” [source](https://www.reddit.com/r/codex/comments/1x1v7vk/luna_calling_out_61_sol_for_trying_to_cheat/pezv7ix/)

#### Agent ends turn or asks to continue

- OpenAI Codex, 2026-10-13, r/codex (Reddit): “yes, and if you *do* set a goal it will get stalled/blocked eventually for a trivial reason after a few turns.” [source](https://www.reddit.com/r/codex/comments/1x4vy2i/codex_literally_unusable/pgilykv/)

#### Unattended run dies on transient errors

- OpenAI Codex, 2026-10-06, r/codex (Reddit): “i wish they‘d let [zip code] agents fix their shit at some point in the near future. navier-stokes is cool, but codex just breaks after 1-2h of work.” [source](https://www.reddit.com/r/codex/comments/1wy3egt/codex_in_windows_is_absolute_trash/pe60c2t/)
- OpenAI Codex, 2026-10-05, r/codex (Reddit): “besides all the other shit, this message is my biggest pet peeve. there's nothing like running a loop and finding out in the morning that you lose 7 hours of loop time because you weren't there to restart it in two clicks.” [source](https://www.reddit.com/r/codex/comments/1wy2iow/paying_200month_for_codex_and_still_getting_model/pe0edlt/)
- Claude Code, 2026-09-28, r/ClaudeCode (Reddit): “i have a rule to only commit at the end of a plan, not midway. too many times i've walked away on a long plan only to find it stalled 2mins later.” [source](https://www.reddit.com/r/ClaudeCode/comments/1ws9p5z/did_they_nerf_opus_55/pcjhqp7/)

#### Unreliable goal state and completion signals

- Google Antigravity, 2026-10-06, @antigravity (X): “@adhidesign @googledeepmind @antigravity i think the i think the most critical thing is to finish the task. the long-term task finish rate is quite low” [source](https://twitter.com/2039101542922358784/status/2107595378065596704)
- Claude Code, 2026-10-02, r/ClaudeCode (Reddit): “yeh i have had a ridiculous /goal running for like 40 hours now and like 36 hours in claude just seemed to stop talking lol, pure tool calls. feel like this might have happened to me” [source](https://www.reddit.com/r/ClaudeCode/comments/1wva0zg/serious_bug_in_opus_55/pdcinc1/)
- OpenAI Codex, 2026-09-24, r/codex (Reddit): “i have had goal mode running for literally 7 days and it did not fix anything. literally the same issues.” [source](https://www.reddit.com/r/codex/comments/1wp32oj/extremely_slow/pbtrl8v/)

#### Unattended runs burn quota and machine resources

- OpenAI Codex, 2026-10-12, r/codex (Reddit): “also 6.1 sol worked for 12 hours straight on a ui overhaul.. and ran through 40% usage doing it. didn't even finish. i'm beyond baffled right now. made a rock solid plan and prompt with 6pro just for it to do literally nothing” [source](https://www.reddit.com/r/codex/comments/1x45x52/codex_with_problems_10122026/pfi3n43/)
- OpenAI Codex, 2026-10-10, r/codex (Reddit): “also had a goal set over night and it answered one of my steered questions repeatedly the entire night instead of doing the actual goal task. burnt up my almost all of my usage. fml never using a goal again..” [source](https://www.reddit.com/r/codex/comments/1x1v7vk/luna_calling_out_61_sol_for_trying_to_cheat/pezw2at/)

#### Permission and safety gates interrupt autonomous runs

- Claude Code, 2026-09-29, r/ClaudeCode (Reddit): “i am running a long-horizon task (>3 days with /goal) and claude randomly stops because “auto mode classifier failed”. then i have to manually go back in an approve a few requests until the auto mode resolves itself. this is quite annoying. is there anything i can do?” [source](https://www.reddit.com/r/ClaudeCode/comments/1wtfswe/auto_mode_classifier_randomly_fails/)
- Claude Code, 2026-09-04, @ClaudeDevs (X): “seriously, how is it possible to do "loops" and "graph" agentic programming and all this anthropic bullshit if it is impossible with claude code to do any long running task without it asking that many questions? even on dangerously skip permissions... ??? @claudedevs @claudeai” [source](https://twitter.com/85493373/status/2095798716531716419)
- OpenAI Codex, 2026-10-10, r/codex (Reddit): “i run codex from the terminal and this exact stall has burned me on unattended runs. it pauses mid-run waiting on a macos permission i have to go click through myself, which defeats the point of letting it work while i do something else. pre-granting beats babysitting settings. does the grant survive a rebuild, or do you re-run it each time the binary changes?” [source](https://www.reddit.com/r/codex/comments/1x242zs/grant_macos_permissions_automatically/pezkeoq/)

#### Other

- OpenAI Codex, 2026-10-13, r/codex (Reddit): “i really feel like someone should do a demonstration of how quickly gpt 6.1 and opus complete a project. because i've had 3 terminals with goals for over 4 days and they're making progress at a snails pace. getting it done, but i think opus would have done much better.” [source](https://www.reddit.com/r/codex/comments/1x4gcgg/normally_i_dont_post_on_here_but_sheesh/pge4gwg/)
- OpenAI Codex, 2026-10-13, r/codex (Reddit): “launched on a comparable task opus 5.5 with sonnet subagents and sol 6.1 once using as subagents 6.1 medium to try it first, but then with luna. claude was finished 2 days later, codex was still working on it 1 week later, forcing me to handoff everything to claude. i asked both to track their progresses, and did handoff every single time their contexts were growing excessively.” [source](https://www.reddit.com/r/codex/comments/1x4yte1/gpt61_sol_is_46x_slower_than_gpt56_sol_are_we/pgj2m0p/)

## Top requests

What users ask to add or change, most asked first. 222 user-weeks ask for something. Requests do not change the Feedback Score. Rule: A separate pass by a large language model reads every counted post and extracts what the user asks the agent or its vendor to add or change, with the criteria it maps to and a short normalised wording; it does not touch the labels or the Feedback Score. A large language model groups the wordings within each criterion (the first criterion the request maps to) into themes, and a second pass merges themes that ask for the same change under different criteria; a merged theme sits under the criterion most of its requests map to, and code counts it once. A theme counts distinct user-weeks that ask for it, per agent; across agents, one user-week per agent. Themes asked in fewer than 2 user-weeks, and requests that share no theme, are not shown. Examples: up to 3 posts per theme from different users, without slurs: whole posts of 60 to 450 characters with at least 8 words beyond handles and links, posts of at most 280 characters first, then the newest.

### 5. Durable state and checkpoint recovery

- Claude Code, 2026-10-10, @ClaudeDevs (X): “@brunobuildsai @claudedevs claude's docs say a 'completed' workflow can include failed workers. i'd log reviewed file ranges separately from findings, and put unfinished ranges back on the queue. a retry should know where to pick up. - Pi, 2026-10-06, @pidotdev (X): “@omarsar0 @pidotdev i want one of these pointed at the overnight jobs that stop and ask a human before they touch a real account. which means the approval is still sitting there in the morning after a restart. and most setups lose it when the process dies” [source](https://twitter.com/966599122206765056/status/2107276971667530032)

### 6. Always-on proactive persistent agents

- Cursor, 2026-10-16, @cursor_ai (X): “@cursor_ai finally the agent can show its work in a dashboard. next quarter: the agent reads the dashboards so nobody else has to do it and take action on it.. please? 😅” [source](https://twitter.com/162624081/status/2111234554346512673)
- Cursor, 2026-10-04, @cursor_ai (X): “@cursor_ai can you ship a feature to run multiple config defined cloud dark factories to code 24/7 with no human intervention, and communication between factories like gascity and wasteland.” [source](https://twitter.com/14183440/status/2106665256915480901)
- Claude Code, 2026-10-01, r/ClaudeAI (Reddit): “i think anthropic’s version is the elaborate always-on framework every claude code nerd inevitably builds for themselves running on, like, a raspberry pi. - OpenAI Codex, 2026-10-05, r/codex (Reddit): “sure it can schedule a codex task, but cant schedule anything for itself. try telling it to check the weather tomorrow morning at 9am. it will either spawn a codex session and waste usage, or it wont do anything at 9am. but its perfectly capable of using its web browser. lazy.” [source](https://www.reddit.com/r/codex/comments/1wyipj9/working_with_your_dot_is_like_working_with_the/pe3hpib/)
- Claude Code, 2026-09-24, @ClaudeDevs (X): “@claudedevs very cool, thanks for sharing. will you consider converting this to a loop that will repeatedly look for perf wins on a scheduled cadence in the future?” [source](https://twitter.com/1758270639410905089/status/2103154301967257629)

### 8. Explicit stop conditions and completion criteria

- Factory, 2026-10-02, @FactoryAI (X): “@factoryai recurring agent workflows are only useful if the stop condition is boring and explicit. i would schedule the happy path, then force every run to leave the same evidence bundle a human can reject in one glance.” [source](https://twitter.com/2099871292480421888/status/2106099423478722599)
- Claude Code, 2026-09-23, @ClaudeDevs (X): “@claudedevs the useful change is not that a session survives laptop closure. it is that the agent can keep moving through a long task. that makes stop conditions, approvals, and a readable run history non-negotiable.” [source](https://twitter.com/1606668181137166337/status/2102884349846905172)
- Claude Code, 2026-09-23, @ClaudeDevs (X): “@claudedevs before closing the laptop, i’d want “stop when...” written as clearly as “build...”. a good overnight task needs an ending.” [source](https://twitter.com/430823545/status/2102872680877965582)

### 9. Loop mode that runs until condition met

- OpenCode, 2026-10-03, @opencode (X): “@thdxr this seems like a good demo of something to fix in @opencode the fact that he had to keep prompt to try one more time, instead of allowing the harness to loop till i == n or so...” [source](https://twitter.com/1394566483066294275/status/2106471021717139469)

### 10. Timeouts for hung tasks

- Pi, 2026-10-11, r/PiCodingAgent (Reddit): “give me the indispensable omp advisory watchdogs and i will be your fanboy.” [source](https://www.reddit.com/r/PiCodingAgent/comments/1x38p5g/now_on_windows_pibolt_083_the_pi_coding_agent/pf9ihl5/)
- Claude Code, 2026-10-09, r/ClaudeCode (Reddit): “could the telegram bot flag pending work that hasn't progressed for a while? that might help catch the two-day silent stop, though i'd be curious whether that check could stay simple enough to avoid adding to the maintenance burden.” [source](https://www.reddit.com/r/ClaudeCode/comments/1x1cjf3/i_ran_an_autonomous_coding_pipeline_for_two_weeks/peswa0h/)
- OpenAI Codex, 2026-09-05, r/codex (Reddit): “damn i wish the app would auto retry unlimited times so i don’t wake up with a hanged task” [source](https://www.reddit.com/r/codex/comments/1w83pca/first_time_ever_seeing_this_in_codex_astra_at/p7zmgou/)

### 11. Automations created and managed from sessions

- Cursor, 2026-10-14, @cursor_ai (X): “@cursor_ai you should let my automations edit themselves so they can be self correcting, also i want ot be able to create automations from my agent sessions - would be really nice!” [source](https://twitter.com/1188188790/status/2110398627357327433)
- Factory, 2026-10-02, @FactoryAI (X): “@factoryai wait, custom workflows only just went ga? that's the starting point. teams don't want to babysit an agent, they want their own sdlc flows running on triggers with approvals in the loop, and that's the whole product at @iamovercut, not an add-on” [source](https://twitter.com/1276773667427495936/status/2105969926527754329)
- OpenCode, 2026-09-06, @opencode (X): “@alexandr_wang i really like this model but have too many errors running it in contributor mode from @opencode go. results are good but it’s not reliable to run automated workflowsyet, unfortunately.” [source](https://twitter.com/1086957899140739072/status/2096691420639699368)

### 12. Progress updates during long runs

- Devin, 2026-10-17, @cognition (X): “@scarletkc @cognition congratulations! first, i have a request: when devin runs long tasks, can it provide more progress updates instead of just working for an hour and suddenly throwing a pr over?” [source](https://twitter.com/1280564694185439232/status/2111381205275095333)
- Claude Code, 2026-09-12, @ClaudeDevs (X): “@claudedevs watching a long run without it owning your foreground changes how much you hand over. half my sessions got babysat only because the output had nowhere else to live.” [source](https://twitter.com/2040491895328038912/status/2098786618156924930)

## Posts

Receipts rule: Up to 5 praise and 5 complaint posts per area and 3 per criterion. Each is a whole post of 60 to 450 characters (700 for areas) with at least 8 words beyond handles and links, that judges the criterion, whose labels are all praise or all complaint, and that contains no slur. Posts that touch the fewest criteria come first, then posts of at most 280 characters, then the newest. A second large language model reads the first 3 candidates per slot and keeps a post only if it clearly praises, or clearly complains about, the agent on that criterion. Links and personal details removed by the source show as marks such as [link].

### Claude Code

- Praise, 2026-10-16, r/ClaudeCode (Reddit): “next, ask claude to handoff the session without your interaction and provide it a number of handoffs it can perform on its own. it’s pretty sweet” [source](https://www.reddit.com/r/ClaudeCode/comments/1x776ms/auto_handoff_are_the_best_new_feature/ph1tji3/)
- Praise, 2026-10-16, r/ClaudeCode (Reddit): “the mistake is right in your post. why use ultracode on a 5 minute task by your own admission? i’ve had success using it after hours of planning to build huge projects in one implementation shot.” [source](https://www.reddit.com/r/ClaudeCode/comments/1x7h3dg/dont_use_ultracode/ph7f9yl/)

### Devin

- Praise, 2026-10-16, @cognition (X): “i'm 17. for one month, devin was my entire engineering team. i woke up to 67 prs. 44 merged. i built an os, local ai models and a native multi-agent app between classes. everything i learned about @cognition @devinai 👇 [link]” [source](https://twitter.com/1810175539053006848/status/2110945930258399539)

- Complaint, 2026-10-06, @cognition (X): “@riqwanmthamir @cognition @cursor_ai cursor maybe, but devin is horrible. openai model do work way better in codex for long running task, typically beyond third compaction, codex will be way ahead. for short task, depending on which benchmark everyone will claim they are ahead.” [source](https://twitter.com/116643108/status/2107533747696566720)

### Factory

- Praise, 2026-10-18, @droid (X): “i've had a @droid running optimizations and benchmarks in a loop for over 100 hours now. i can't wait to do a grand reveal of what kvarm has become once all of this engineering work is completed. we're doing a ground up overhaul to make it the best agent+native git system.” [source](https://twitter.com/2070908287978246144/status/2111637663577190712)

### Amp

- Praise, 2026-09-12, @AmpCode (X): “@tetsuo_cpp @ampcode i've had things run like this for about 58 hours without stopping 😂” [source](https://twitter.com/22610703/status/2098748601170301081)
- Praise, 2026-09-12, @AmpCode (X): “@tetsuo_cpp @ampcode it's almost difficult to not get it endlessly running if the goal is written in a good enough validation 🫪” [source](https://twitter.com/22610703/status/2098751817492607421)
- Praise, 2026-09-12, @AmpCode (X): “@ampcode keeps surprising, i just love how it auto continues after my @chatgpt 5hr limit without me coming back and clicking retry” [source](https://twitter.com/1810868430624755712/status/2098795745981735083)
- Complaint, 2026-09-15, @AmpCode (X): “been using @ampcode a lot lately but i really don't think models are ready to work without /goal. models get lazy even with a spec to stick to and i end up relying on hacky things like using puck to schedule nudges every 30 min.” [source](https://twitter.com/1000309405/status/2099797899043569967)
- Complaint, 2026-10-01, @AmpCode (X): “@ampcode how do i use amp to complete larger tasks? it’s all an impression; compared to codex, if given n things to build, amp stops at the first one and calls it a day. i must be holding it wrong. another problem is lack of /goal. it is useful in optimization loops because by default the models (at least for now) do not believe in themselves enough so to speak.” [source](https://twitter.com/609270928/status/2105540740830908670)

### Cursor

- Praise, 2026-10-12, @cursor_ai (X): “my personal record with cursor so far: 81 hours on a single goal. and it's still going. 🤯 at this point, i'm curious... what's the longest you've kept @cursor_ai working on one task?” [source](https://twitter.com/26743780/status/2109766161428774942)
- Praise, 2026-10-07, @cursor_ai (X): “@cursor_ai kicking off a task from the couch and checking in later is such a nice workflow. long agent runs just got way less babysitty” [source](https://twitter.com/1634773295206916096/status/2107765302721495512)
- Praise, 2026-10-01, @cursor_ai (X): “i beat the qwop world record with ai. 45.167s vs the human record of 45.530. i didn't tune it by hand. an agent (grok bot in @cursor_ai) ran the research loop for me: checking training every 15 min, killing runs that plateaued, and queueing the next experiment. [link]” [source](https://twitter.com/3313024981/status/2105768487998337035)
- Complaint, 2026-10-10, @cursor_ai (X): “@cursor_ai i gave up and sent opus 5.5 a similar plan, and it went for nearly seven hours without losing track of the plan stages. i don't mind if 4.7 is a lesser model than 5.5. but it's an agent model that can't run for more than an hour even if fed *every* step in detail in plan mode.” [source](https://twitter.com/1841200327980195848/status/2108730459069059475)
- Complaint, 2026-09-20, @cursor_ai (X): “@elie2222 ran @cursor_ai on a /goal for 36 hours. a blocked cla step could not finish, so the agent invented checks and tasks. 400 commits, 500 files, and it still claimed work remained. without a hard stop, agents invent busywork around gates. ### Google Antigravity

- Praise, 2026-10-18, @antigravity (X): “i just built airdrop from my iphone to my linux desktop with gemini on @antigravity. same one click and instantly opens files and websites i didn’t expect it to actually work, just sent one prompt, went to dinner, and it was up and running when i came back. like magic 🥹” [source](https://twitter.com/1699527254265794560/status/2111646872838582354)

### Pi

- Praise, 2026-10-13, r/LocalLLaMA (Reddit): “i gave up on opencode, i had to tell it to continue everytime, after compaction it was sometime starting everything from zero because all the reflexion has been compacted . moved to pi agent, never had a single issue. my agent can run for hours without issue.” [source](https://www.reddit.com/r/LocalLLaMA/comments/1x3n8ex/opencode_2026_is_out_if_you_need_to_constantly/pgfxx1b/)

- Complaint, 2026-10-11, @pidotdev (X): “@henriquebastos @dpetrou @pidotdev im really hoping pi-durable make it for 2/3 i was used pi, but having afk workflows and automations in cursor/devin was unfortunately much easier :(” [source](https://twitter.com/2095992373113126913/status/2109315913983893585)
- Complaint, 2026-10-03, r/PiCodingAgent (Reddit): “that’s just what i need, thanks! in have built my perfect pi stack with everything i need, but it can’t run extremely long tasks due to context length. using this, i just get one hierarchy level on top, without much hassle.” [source](https://www.reddit.com/r/PiCodingAgent/comments/1wwpau0/i_made_pidelegator_for_people_who_want_a_simpler/pdo30z0/)

- Complaint, 2026-09-17, @cline (X): “@positronx_ @cline sucks xd i can't run a goal in this it take hours xd [link]” [source](https://twitter.com/1261173216455712768/status/2100610075668988021)
- Complaint, 2026-10-12, r/CLine (Reddit): “the odds of this are pretty low sadly. between cline issues, code issues, model issues and so on.. it will stop. stuff like it stopping instead of auto compacting happen. i can’t remember one night or even one block of 2-3 hours where it didn’t stop. what’s worse than this is when it goes off on a tangent overnight and you wake to chaos. sorry i can’t help more.” [source](https://www.reddit.com/r/CLine/comments/1x3zk0c/cline_in_vs_code_how_can_i_make_sessions_fully/pffvx3r/)

### Kiro

- Praise, 2026-10-12, r/kiroIDE (Reddit): “i have lots of credits. lots of them. i use mostly kiro crew and let it do all the work. no need for approvals. it does a great job with good models.” [source](https://www.reddit.com/r/kiroIDE/comments/1x31rk1/am_i_using_kiro_wrong_or_does_it_feel_painful_to/pfefmla/)
