# Saving, switching, resuming and rewinding sessions (`ui.session_history`)

Feedback Bench, coding agents, built 2026-10-19, window 2026-08-31 to 2026-10-18. Web page: https://feedbackbench.com/coding-agents/#/criterion/ui.session_history

Area: [Interface and sessions](https://feedbackbench.com/coding-agents/criteria/interface.md)

**Definition.** Whether chats and threads persist, can be switched and resumed with their state intact, and can be rewound or reverted.

**Boundary.** Not this: see [Memory and state carried across sessions](https://feedbackbench.com/coding-agents/criteria/context.session_memory.md) for knowledge carried into a new session.

Rated user-weeks, all agents: 1016. Complaint share: 74%.

## The brief

Written by large language models from this page's numbers and the posts it quotes, then checked: every number in the text is in the build. Interpretation, not measurement.

Pi is the best AI coding agent at keeping session history. Its users praise its /tree view and a session manager for browsing past sessions. One user says Pi's session logs helped rebuild deleted files. This criterion makes up 1.2% of what users of AI coding agents rate. Most of those ratings are complaints: 73.5% of rated user-weeks complain. Google Antigravity ranks low, in last place, and its users say their chats disappear. OpenAI Codex also ranks low and draws 33% of the category's complaints here.

### What separates the best from the rest

Users of the agents that rank high (Pi, OpenCode and Claude Code) describe sessions that last. They come back after a reinstall, keep running after the session is closed and can be rewound without failing. Users of the agents that rank low describe sessions they cannot keep or reach. On Google Antigravity, chats vanish after a few hours or after an update. Conversations stay on disk but drop out of the app. On OpenAI Codex, users say threads are hard to find and cannot be continued on another computer.

## How it breaks

Rule: A separate pass sorts complaints into failure modes. For each criterion with at least 30 complaining user-weeks, a large language model reads 150 complaint posts drawn at random and names 4 to 8 failure modes; a second large language model then puts every complaint post on that criterion in one mode, or in Other when it fits none. Modes are fixed once named, and new posts are sorted into them each week. A mode counts distinct user-weeks with a complaint in it, per agent; across agents, one user-week per agent. Modes do not change the labels or the Feedback Score. Examples: up to 3 posts per mode from different users, chosen and checked as receipts are.

The largest failure mode is users who cannot find the session they want. Session lists cannot be searched, mix up projects or cannot be organized. This mode makes up 26% of complaining user-weeks, and Claude Code accounts for 41% of it. Sessions lost after a restart or update come next, at 19%. OpenAI Codex has the largest share of most other modes, including sessions not shared across devices or apps (42%) and new-session and tab problems (45%).

756 complaining user-weeks.

| Failure mode | User-weeks | Posts | Agents (user-weeks) | Definition |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Past sessions hard to find or organize | 197 | 202 | Claude Code 81, OpenAI Codex 53, Google Antigravity 18, OpenCode 15, Cursor 13, Amp 7, Zed 3, Factory 2, Pi 2, Warp 2, GitHub Copilot 1 | The session list cannot be searched by content or date, is scoped to one folder or project, mixes up projects, reorders itself, scatters sessions, or lacks grouping, renaming, deleting or archiving, so the user cannot locate the session they want; this does not cover sessions that are actually gone. |
| Session history lost after restart or update | 145 | 157 | OpenAI Codex 43, Claude Code 35, Google Antigravity 32, Cursor 13, OpenCode 8, Devin 4, Zed 4, Cline 2, GitHub Copilot 2, Pi 1, Warp 1 | Saved chats, threads or sessions disappear, come back empty or truncated, or get auto-pruned after an app restart, update, reinstall, logout or account switch; this does not cover sessions that still exist but are hard to find. |
| Sessions not shared across surfaces or devices | 114 | 116 | OpenAI Codex 48, Claude Code 33, Google Antigravity 9, Cursor 8, OpenCode 5, Zed 4, Devin 2, Cline 1, GitHub Copilot 1, Factory 1, Pi 1, Warp 1 | A session started in one client (CLI, desktop app, IDE extension, web, phone, remote VM or another machine) cannot be seen, continued or migrated in another, or shows conflicting state there; this does not cover loss within a single client. |
| Resume or reconnect to existing session fails | 83 | 87 | OpenAI Codex 33, Claude Code 24, Amp 6, OpenCode 5, Cursor 4, Google Antigravity 3, Devin 3, Cline 2, GitHub Copilot 1, Factory 1, Warp 1 | An existing session or thread cannot be resumed, reattached or reconnected (stuck connecting, lost executor, resume broken after re-login or upgrade, features missing in resumed chats, no clean handoff to a new session); this does not cover finding the session in a list. |
| Fork, rewind and revert broken or missing | 80 | 85 | Claude Code 23, OpenAI Codex 21, Google Antigravity 9, OpenCode 6, Cursor 5, Pi 4, Cline 3, Zed 3, Amp 2, GitHub Copilot 2, Factory 1, Kiro 1 | Branching, /fork, undo-to-point, editing an earlier message or reverting a turn is missing, leaves the original intact, duplicates the thread, fails to restore files or context, or is blocked after compaction; this does not cover ordinary resume. |
| New session and tab handling misbehaves | 62 | 64 | OpenAI Codex 28, Claude Code 12, Google Antigravity 5, Amp 4, Cursor 4, OpenCode 4, Cline 1, Conductor 1, GitHub Copilot 1, Devin 1, Zed 1 | Starting or switching sessions creates them in the wrong place, project or tab, carries over the old draft prompt, forces extra steps, or discards a half-typed input; this does not cover persistence of finished sessions. |
| Long or large sessions fail to load | 22 | 24 | OpenAI Codex 7, Claude Code 6, Google Antigravity 4, Amp 1, GitHub Copilot 1, Cursor 1, OpenCode 1, Zed 1 | Long threads or very large conversation files load slowly, flicker, show only the first message, become 'not found', lose features like side chat, or will not open at all; this does not cover sessions deleted outright. |
| Session storage bloats disk usage | 14 | 15 | OpenAI Codex 6, OpenCode 6, Claude Code 2 | Locally stored chats, history databases and transcripts grow to tens of gigabytes, slow the tool down, or can only be cleaned up by deleting all history; this does not cover loss caused by something other than storage size. |
| Other | 54 | 54 | Claude Code 20, OpenAI Codex 11, Google Antigravity 5, Cursor 5, OpenCode 4, Pi 3, Zed 3, Devin 2, Amp 1 | Complaints that fit none of the modes above. |

#### Resume or reconnect to existing session fails

- OpenAI Codex, 2026-10-09, r/codex (Reddit): “if you just share the link from the old chat in a new chat and then you can just continue where you left off. it’s dumb but at least it’s a work around” [source](https://www.reddit.com/r/codex/comments/1x1fnyb/this_is_why_i_hate_work_mode/pey6o89/)

[link] thanks for reading.” [source](https://www.reddit.com/r/google_antigravity/comments/1wzyh1r/i_found_a_workaround_to_fix_version_tracking_in/)

#### New session and tab handling misbehaves

- OpenAI Codex, 2026-10-10, r/codex (Reddit): “updated this morning and this functionality has been removed. i used it as a marker to know where i am at in each cli session. reinstate it!!!!!” [source](https://www.reddit.com/r/codex/comments/1x2hd7g/openai_reinstate_the_last_message_copied_to/)

- OpenAI Codex, 2026-10-04, X search: OpenAI Codex, Codex CLI, Codex app (X): “i’ve mostly moved to codex app too and only use the cli at work. one thing i do miss on the app is faster switching of project threads. although it seems like voice mode is the future… just takes getting some used to. [link]” [source](https://twitter.com/1753961040344236032/status/2106754702549635169)

#### Long or large sessions fail to load

- Claude Code, 2026-10-15, @ClaudeDevs (X): “@claudedevs even though it's my own conversation history, i can't load the chat history, and claude code is arbitrarily taking it hostage, which is the worst, really the worst.” [source](https://twitter.com/1456128631382495232/status/2110677065632723445)

- GitHub Copilot, 2026-10-01, r/GithubCopilot (Reddit): “i 100% have seen the slow agent window behavior. it has seemed to have gotten better on insiders, whereas before, like you said, it was taking minutes. infuriating, as the whole point of the agent window is to switch sessions quickly!!!” [source](https://www.reddit.com/r/GithubCopilot/comments/1wukzs2/copilot_in_vs_code_major_chatagent_latency_best/pd8ygcx/)

#### Session storage bloats disk usage

- OpenAI Codex, 2026-09-10, X search: OpenAI Codex, Codex CLI, Codex app (X): “@openai codex team. feature request. please add something like chrome profiles for codex. my codex environment is getting really out of control for all the projects and it causes wait times and loading issues when i switch between chats. i have several things i'm working on at once and it would be nice to be able to keep the projects i need to work on together isolatated from ones that don't need to exist together.” [source](https://twitter.com/517753444/status/2098072340382749065)

#### Other

- Claude Code, 2026-10-15, r/ClaudeCode (Reddit): “i often export session transcripts and it’s annoying when it exports to scratchpad or whatever’s the current dir. i asked claude and it said theres no way to modify the export cmds behavior .” [source](https://www.reddit.com/r/ClaudeCode/comments/1x6j32y/any_way_to_have_the_export_slash_cmd_to_stop/)
- OpenAI Codex, 2026-10-14, X search: OpenAI Codex, Codex CLI, Codex app (X): “the dot transcript isn't even accessible from other transcripts in the codex app. it needs to be more integrated, dawg. like this, it's lowkey useless” [source](https://twitter.com/667223/status/2110422973433696605)
- Claude Code, 2026-09-27, r/ClaudeCode (Reddit): “cursor has "export transcript". claude is less helpful in this regard, but the session is saved as a json file in ~/.claude/projects/... claude is happy to "/save-session" but the whole point is to avoid having an llm summarize it.” [source](https://www.reddit.com/r/ClaudeCode/comments/1wp6nq9/do_you_guys_use_auto_compact/pcei5nr/)

## Top requests

What users ask to add or change, most asked first. 534 user-weeks ask for something. Requests do not change the Feedback Score. Rule: A separate pass by a large language model reads every counted post and extracts what the user asks the agent or its vendor to add or change, with the criteria it maps to and a short normalised wording; it does not touch the labels or the Feedback Score. A large language model groups the wordings within each criterion (the first criterion the request maps to) into themes, and a second pass merges themes that ask for the same change under different criteria; a merged theme sits under the criterion most of its requests map to, and code counts it once. A theme counts distinct user-weeks that ask for it, per agent; across agents, one user-week per agent. Themes asked in fewer than 2 user-weeks, and requests that share no theme, are not shown. Examples: up to 3 posts per theme from different users, without slurs: whole posts of 60 to 450 characters with at least 8 words beyond handles and links, posts of at most 280 characters first, then the newest.

- Pi, 2026-10-11, r/PiCodingAgent (Reddit): “i meant on my own local machine, having more categories or spaces to organize my sessions separately, rather than just "local"” [source](https://www.reddit.com/r/PiCodingAgent/comments/1x3bwqs/more_than_one_machine/pf9nkw2/)

### 7. Delete chats, sessions and projects

- Cursor, 2026-10-18, @cursor_ai (X): “@prathamdby @cursor_ai @poteto yeah... i've got forbidden code that must be destroyed in my threads too. we really need to be able to delete them.” [source](https://twitter.com/2048290395323297792/status/2111826326118088805)
- Cursor, 2026-10-18, @cursor_ai (X): “i hate how @cursor_ai doesn't let me delete old threads. just putting them in the archive isn't enough for me. @poteto poteto poteto” [source](https://twitter.com/1817155037938036736/status/2111795093405667830)
- OpenAI Codex, 2026-10-03, r/codex (Reddit): “yes, this has been very frustrating, messages are lost, endless queue loop, you can't even delete a message... wonder what's going on with this shitty company since opus 5.5 release. i guess code red x5.” [source](https://www.reddit.com/r/codex/comments/1wx1det/this_new_queue_thing_is_a_disaster/pdpkxy8/)

### 8. Rewind session to checkpoint with code revert

- Claude Code, 2026-10-15, @ClaudeDevs (X): “@claudedevs why don't you guys add a revert prompt or just a edit prompt thing in the cloud sessions i can't stop making new threads when i'm not using my laptop that thing sucks and i don't want to have cache hits a lot.” [source](https://twitter.com/2066041014822076416/status/2110615105004318727)

- Zed, 2026-09-25, @zeddotdev (X): “@zeddotdev the thing i dislike most about zed is jumping back to the state of a previous user messages seems to be buggy, or i don't get how to use it. much easier in cursor imo” [source](https://twitter.com/1665352784147775488/status/2103585879063474315)

### 9. Fork or branch a conversation

- Claude Code, 2026-10-15, @ClaudeDevs (X): “@claudedevs the missing piece with lots of sessions side by side: fork one from any message. i wrote /tree for claude code, it rebuilds the conversation tree from the uuid/parentuuid chain in the session file. 72 tests. would like that in the desktop app.” [source](https://twitter.com/1945980295221805056/status/2110726858769842572)
- OpenAI Codex, 2026-10-03, X search: OpenAI Codex, Codex CLI, Codex app (X): “@theo @ga_vasques i been wanting easy thread forking that was my only thing from the codex app that i felt was missing” [source](https://twitter.com/2279792245/status/2106513758361379031)
- OpenAI Codex, 2026-09-27, r/LocalLLaMA (Reddit): “once you use `/tree` in pi/pi-based harnesses, you can’t go back. i so wish codex had it though!” [source](https://www.reddit.com/r/LocalLLaMA/comments/1wrfp50/another_harness_matters_post_codex_cli_pi_and/pccg8jm/)

### 10. Import chat history from other tools

- Amp, 2026-10-15, @AmpCode (X): “man i would love to bring my (and my teammates) chatgpt threads into @ampcode or even pull in multiple threads from multiple teammates into there. chatgpt is arguably way faster at doing research, and @ampcode is where my codebase is at.” [source](https://twitter.com/17979810/status/2110754161621164274)
- Google Antigravity, 2026-10-06, @antigravity (X): “@adhidesign @googledeepmind @antigravity also please please add import or export of chats feature for the chats so that we can easily continue on different systems the same chat context to reduce token usage and time for agent to understand chat or feature context” [source](https://twitter.com/2449259572/status/2107368718716326400)
- Claude Code, 2026-09-28, r/codex (Reddit): “can claude migrate the codex chats over? because i’m pretty sure that codex was able to bring over my claude code chats when i switched” [source](https://www.reddit.com/r/codex/comments/1ws18sn/trying_opus_55/pcltqwi/)

### 11. Move chats between projects

- Claude Code, 2026-10-16, @ClaudeDevs (X): “@claudedevs hey what about being able to add existing code sessions in the desktop app into a new project, vis a vis the new 'projects' feature? like a drag and drop or right-click to add in the new project option” [source](https://twitter.com/1184320425272066048/status/2111049323740070260)
- Claude Code, 2026-10-15, @ClaudeDevs (X): “@claudedevs would be nice to move old chats into a project later. sometimes a random conversation turns into something worth building, and you've already got a bunch of useful context sitting there.” [source](https://twitter.com/1613362044060995585/status/2110672265105096896)
- Claude Code, 2026-10-13, @ClaudeDevs (X): “@claudedevs please allow local chats to be added to projects. i already have group system in place i would rather covert those groups to projects / move individual chats to projects if i need to so i dont need to start from scratch.” [source](https://twitter.com/1941272793083150340/status/2109902780970442926)

### 12. Configurable chat history retention and storage size

- Google Antigravity, 2026-10-01, r/google_antigravity (Reddit): “this should really be configurable. just like undo history in word programs or photoshop - let the user pick how much memory they want to allocate, and how much startup time they'll tolerate. 1000 past projects/conversations? sounds good. i have 2tb allocated.” [source](https://www.reddit.com/r/google_antigravity/comments/1wu33gq/any_way_to_preserve_all_created_conversations_ever/pd7506p/)
- OpenCode, 2026-09-20, @opencode (X): “@opencode after website update i see logs only for last 2 days, this will be fixed?” [source](https://twitter.com/1692084539332468736/status/2101774798766415988)
- Claude Code, 2026-09-17, @ClaudeDevs (X): “@buburdin @claudedevs the safest workaround is to treat local sessions as disposable: export or back them up on a schedule, and keep durable decisions in repo docs rather than only chat history. a visible retention setting plus recovery path should be the default.” [source](https://twitter.com/1659147023910682625/status/2100472141124710600)

## Posts

Receipts rule: Up to 5 praise and 5 complaint posts per area and 3 per criterion. Each is a whole post of 60 to 450 characters (700 for areas) with at least 8 words beyond handles and links, that judges the criterion, whose labels are all praise or all complaint, and that contains no slur. Posts that touch the fewest criteria come first, then posts of at most 280 characters, then the newest. A second large language model reads the first 3 candidates per slot and keeps a post only if it clearly praises, or clearly complains about, the agent on that criterion. Links and personal details removed by the source show as marks such as [link].

- Praise, 2026-10-04, @pidotdev (X): “right now having my accidentally removed directory-structure and files reconstructed from @pidotdev -session-log-files (backup) .” [source](https://twitter.com/1482352150105792518/status/2106813329796657397)
- Praise, 2026-09-23, @pidotdev (X): “i can't believe no major harness has adopted `/tree` from @pidotdev. some have forks, but man i miss `/tree` so much in codex and @chatgpt. i wish each message had a "rollback" button, which would summarize the tail of the chat up to the selected message.” [source](https://twitter.com/15790969/status/2102812042272874506)
- Praise, 2026-09-17, r/PiCodingAgent (Reddit): “aye, same as `/tree`. i use that a lot, but i never bothered with the summary. now i get what the summary is for, cool thanks! with that and your extension my productivity should go up, cheers!” [source](https://www.reddit.com/r/PiCodingAgent/comments/1wii812/aljaffee_simple_cachepreserving_foldin_compaction/pafyuq8/)
- Complaint, 2026-10-08, @pidotdev (X): “increasingly convinced linear chat is the wrong format for complex work with agents. a branched model, like what google wave attempted, could fit much better. @pidotdev has some of this with /tree, but branches don't share context, so you end up shuttling it around manually. anyone building this?” [source](https://twitter.com/23926914/status/2108064431024255315)
- Complaint, 2026-09-22, @pidotdev (X): “@pidotdev i love pi, but it's the tui that is mostly frustrating for me now. having to manually track and restart sessions after a reboot is tedious (herdr isn't reliable enough). inline annotations like plannotator. better way to organise/persist sessions (codex does this well).” [source](https://twitter.com/16863377/status/2102524016523419871)

### OpenCode

- Praise, 2026-10-09, @opencode (X): “what i really miss in @claudeai is beeing able to clearly see the topic of each session, like i can in @opencode. @anthropicai can you fix, this please? [link]” [source](https://twitter.com/1341301834527498241/status/2108565595235242390)
- Praise, 2026-10-06, r/opencodeCLI (Reddit): “i accidentally closed a session and was worried because i don’t like interrupting the process (as oc has no /resume option). but there it was, still processing in the background. i opened it back up and it was still running. it was perhaps the nicest little feature i ran into.” [source](https://www.reddit.com/r/opencodeCLI/comments/1wyg6ey/my_one_weekend_with_opencode_v2_experience/pe7mhdx/)
- Praise, 2026-10-05, @opencode (X): “i just love tabs in @opencode v2 because everytime there's an update, i just update it and then all my sessions are restarted for me. on @claudeai cli, i have 4 tabs which i need to /exit and restart again on new updates. @lydiahallie any tips ? maybe i'm wrong” [source](https://twitter.com/1852549499270660096/status/2106984478212252069)

- Complaint, 2026-10-01, r/opencode (Reddit): “the interface (gui/ux) is truly absurd. you can no longer easily archive or delete sessions from the left sidebar; they force you to open each session to archive or delete it from within. they want to be "different," but they go about it inefficiently. it’s terrible!” [source](https://www.reddit.com/r/opencode/comments/1wujpkg/opencode_desktop_opencode_1180_or_newer_is/pd4l4f0/)

### Claude Code

- Praise, 2026-10-16, r/ClaudeCode (Reddit): “terminal fluency is a lousy proxy for engineering ability. cli works for me when the task is linear, but for reviewing markdown or returning after a meeting, the desktop view saves me from reconstructing the whole session.” [source](https://www.reddit.com/r/ClaudeCode/comments/1x6r6tp/anyone_crawling_back_to_desktop_app_macos/ph0jpmb/)

- Praise, 2026-09-19, @zeddotdev (X): “@zeddotdev the whole mental model of every chat and file change history being recorded in isolated thread. simple and powerful. once i got past the "trying to fit into git ways of working" model, this is actually liberating.” [source](https://twitter.com/1049200051178885120/status/2101356269462315403)
- Praise, 2026-09-28, @zeddotdev (X): “you need to chat history plus all media at a minimum for sure. even better would be file state at each point in the conversation, @zeddotdev’s delta is the closest thing we have to that part of the equation: [link]. anthropic baking something like this into claude cli and app would be so awesome.” [source](https://twitter.com/11235612/status/2104609696128593960)
- Complaint, 2026-09-25, r/ZedEditor (Reddit): “i work on 1-4 of them at once. some have agents running. the agent list is also getting out of hand, it lists all projects, even the empty one where there was no agent running. even with archiving threads it is getting out of hand” [source](https://www.reddit.com/r/ZedEditor/comments/1wowmwx/how_do_you_handle_multiple_zed_window/pbxbq24/)
- Complaint, 2026-09-25, @zeddotdev (X): “@zeddotdev the thing i dislike most about zed is jumping back to the state of a previous user messages seems to be buggy, or i don't get how to use it. much easier in cursor imo” [source](https://twitter.com/1665352784147775488/status/2103585879063474315)
- Complaint, 2026-10-11, r/ZedEditor (Reddit): “i lost my temp work, cause zed doesn't have workspace option, had issue with formatting js files and the shortcut log keyword doesn't work in zed. shifted back to vscode, will probably give zed another chance in a while” [source](https://www.reddit.com/r/ZedEditor/comments/1x354w5/i_profiled_zed_memory_usage_and_heres_what_it/pf8d35k/)

### GitHub Copilot

- Praise, 2026-09-24, r/GithubCopilot (Reddit): “i think the real advantage is sessions do not end when you quit vs code.” [source](https://www.reddit.com/r/GithubCopilot/comments/1wpctlc/vs_code_chat_users_local_or_copilot_harness/pbup51t/)
- Complaint, 2026-10-01, r/GithubCopilot (Reddit): “i 100% have seen the slow agent window behavior. it has seemed to have gotten better on insiders, whereas before, like you said, it was taking minutes. infuriating, as the whole point of the agent window is to switch sessions quickly!!!” [source](https://www.reddit.com/r/GithubCopilot/comments/1wukzs2/copilot_in_vs_code_major_chatagent_latency_best/pd8ygcx/)
- Complaint, 2026-09-04, r/GithubCopilot (Reddit): “yeah don't use chat it's terrible, i use copilot cli exclusively because copilot chat can't handle multiple sessions opened simultaneously (and keep all of them in history)” [source](https://www.reddit.com/r/GithubCopilot/comments/1w75qev/copilot_losing_all_chat_sessions_when_reopening/p7sbzq1/)
- Complaint, 2026-09-04, r/GithubCopilot (Reddit): “is anyone else experiencing this? every time i restart vs code, copilot loses all chat sessions. i’m opening the exact same workspace without changing anything, but the chat history is completely gone. is this a known issue or am i missing something?” [source](https://www.reddit.com/r/GithubCopilot/comments/1w75qev/copilot_losing_all_chat_sessions_when_reopening/)

- Complaint, 2026-09-12, @cognition (X): “@_pwep @cognition @devindesktop @_pwep yeah the session-loss one is the scary one. losing history on a paid agent tool is a trust killer, not a polish issue. the rest is rough ux but survivable, the data loss is not.” [source](https://twitter.com/1594009249989918721/status/2098855078782263583)

### Cline

- Complaint, 2026-10-12, r/CLine (Reddit): “following - i for one would like full persistency not only within cline, but also across devices. using code server, it's annoying that it's impossible to start a chat session on your desktop, continue on your tablet and finish it on your phone.” [source](https://www.reddit.com/r/CLine/comments/1x3zk0c/cline_in_vs_code_how_can_i_make_sessions_fully/pfiir2u/)

- Complaint, 2026-09-13, r/warpdotdev (Reddit): “would be nice of warp to also bring back my 20 claude sessions. after restart, i need to manually find each of them, with some sharing paths” [source](https://www.reddit.com/r/warpdotdev/comments/1wd585l/cant_afford_restart/p9i2k99/)
- Complaint, 2026-09-30, @warpdotdev (X): “cool feature, but heads-up on a toe stub: i signed out of my regular warp account to try the chatgpt login and it wiped all my tabs/sessions. signing back into my original account didn't restore them, and ⌘⇧t didn't help. would love a warning or session carry-over for auth switches.” [source](https://twitter.com/22451638/status/2105402456460980580)
- Complaint, 2026-09-13, @warpdotdev (X): “hey @warpdotdev is there something i'm doing wrong, because your thing keeps crashing on me, or all of a sudden i'm jumping back and forth between two sessions in different tabs? i go to do something in a browser, and i look back, and the sessions from both tabs are gone.” [source](https://twitter.com/9409172/status/2099257411693412841)

### Factory

- Complaint, 2026-09-28, @FactoryAI (X): “i wonder why a @droid upgrade does not resume lastest session/mission. loops would kick in and no more interruptions. the biggest fix of all. @factoryai” [source](https://twitter.com/1590702228234391552/status/2104398925587484684)

### Kiro

### Conductor

- Complaint, 2026-10-13, @conductor_build (X): “wonder in @conductor_build please! i wish it was easier to switch models mid-stream (when tokens run out) without kicking off a new tab. i switch opus<->astra and have to start a new window. i can click the session transcript include, but it is annoying to not be able to scroll back.” [source](https://twitter.com/20442473/status/2109862008267162044)
